Take-back and disposal
Information on the disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment
Our electric actuators for which we are the manufacturer are marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. This symbol means that the product must not be disposed of with household waste at the end of its service life. We also distribute products from other manufacturers. For disposal information regarding these products, please contact the respective manufacturer directly.
Waste electrical and electronic equipment must be collected separately from unsorted municipal waste and handed in at a suitable collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment or at a legally designated return facility.
Our actuators do not contain batteries, rechargeable batteries or lamps that must be removed before disposal. The products do not store any personal data.
Private end users can dispose of old devices in particular at municipal collection points, recycling centers or through legally obligated distributors. Information on return options is available from your local municipality or from the respective distributor.
We have not set up any additional voluntary return options.

Take-back of packaging not subject to system participation
We offer to take back used and fully emptied transport, sales and grouped packaging, provided that it is not subject to mandatory system participation under section 7(1), first sentence, of the German Packaging Law Implementation Act (VerpackDG) and is of the same type, form and size as packaging made available by us in Germany.
As a final distributor, our take-back obligation is limited to packaging originating from goods that we carry in our product range.
Use of this take-back option is voluntary. If you wish to return packaging to us, please contact us in advance by email at info@drfa.de or by telephone at +49 7621 1627300. We will then coordinate the return location and procedure with you.
For consumers, take-back is generally provided free of charge at the place of actual handover or in its immediate vicinity.
Different arrangements regarding the return location and costs may be agreed with end recipients who are not consumers. In the case of recurring deliveries, packaging may be taken back during one of the subsequent deliveries.
The purpose of the return is separate collection and priority preparation for reuse or recycling.
